1941 born in Berlin. Around 1957 first perspective sketches. Then deepening my love for drawing with nude drawings, portrait sketches and work with charcoal at the painter Godag, Berlin. Alongside I discovered my second passion for sculptural design and casting techniques at Prof. Bobeck. 1960, after finishing my training in dressmaking I was able to change into Haute Couture. To further my career I learned fashion cut drawing and visited evening classes at the craft master school Berlin for fashion drawing.
I have been living in Langwedel-Daverden since 1975.
After private turbulences nearly till self-abandonment, retraining with examination I started a wonderful new stage of life: 10 years working with the handicapped and now after intensive tuition at Sara Fruchtmann, painter and director I work with great enthusiasm with lots of (acryl–) colour on canvas, wood and cardboard.
From my pictures you get the feeling that I only paint what touches, what stimulates me to reproduce. This can be a sunray, which falls through my curtains or a walk with my dog, pictures which can only be imagined in diffuse grey through fog. Then again other pictures spread intensive vitality and colour, using material like wood or palette-knife.
In 2000 I started in Bremen–Hemelingen and Blumenthal. Then individual and joint exhibitions followed in Achim, Verden, Worpswede and again and again in my own atelier in Langwedel. Here at the same time with unusual fashion designed by me. Since 2004 I give lessons in acryl painting and different mixing techniques on my own premises and at the KASCH, Achim.
